You can conduct a search at LPPEH Search under Negotiator Search. Alternatively, call BOVEAP during the office hours at 603-22876666.
The other way is to ask for their REN TAG. The Quick Respond (QR) code on the tag can be verified using a smartphone. It contains all the negotiator's information including their photograph. If the negotiator is registered with LPPEH, he/she will be given a valid tag with active years.
5. What Is NCC ?
The Negotiators Certification Course (NCC) is for those who want to join the real estate industry for the first time. Upon completion of this 2-day training course by a registered institution, the negotiators will receive a certificate of attendance from the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP). They will be taught the basics of estate agency best-practice, laws, and regulations. A negotiator must be attached to a registered real estate firm in order to work within the industry. Currently, the LPPEH hasn't imposed an examination in NCC.
6. What Is REN TAG?
REN Tag is an identification tag issued to a Real Estate Negotiator (REN). It contains all the information including their name, photo, IC no, REN no, firm name, firm registration no, quick respond code (QR) and security features, This tag must be worn by the REN at all times during their conduct of business. The negotiators are required to renew their ren tag on a yearly basis by attending a CDP Training Programme prepared by the LPPEH.
